We are splitting one subtable record into three rows.
For one employee record we have three subtables
Subtable 1 is displaying employee's name and their double time hours
Subtable 2 is displaying time and half hours for that employee

In this section we are showing examples to create MULTIPLE excel documents
--- > We are generating below documents for every project record in table
--- > We are storing each document to its own file attachment field in the record (except for sameworkbook option)
--- >At the end of the process we creating workbook and in each sheet you can see details or weekly time sheet for each project

>> First 2 buttons are using the "sameworkbook" parameters which creates document one document with each excel tab representing a Quickbase record.
>> Second 2 button are using the "merge" parameters which creates files at each record and then creates on consolidated PDF file of all records.

In some cases you may have multiple records that should be grouped/summarized/totaled together into a report.

This example illustrates outputting data to multiple tabs and the first tab includes subtotals and grouping as well...
In this example we are showing a cool way to view your data as a Schedule / Gantt.
We are getting the data from the Projects and Tasks tables to display the Project Schedule in a Gantt style view.

In this section is an example of creating an Excel document and automatically sending out via email
--- > After entering your email address and saving the record, our "batch" process will run in the background and generate the excel document and email via our Courier Add-on.
--- > You should see an email within 30 seconds with a sample Expense sheet attached.

Items in the new table are called:

When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

  • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
  • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.

Read more about converting a column into a table.
