Pricing Details:  FILE ATTACHMENT SWEEP is a BASIC add-on and includes a One-Time Setup Charge and an ANNUAL Hosting Charge.
  • Setup Charge includes setting up ONE Quickbase application, ONE table and ONE file attachment field to be swept.
  • Each additional File Attachment field to be swept adds $10 to the monthly hosting charge
  • FILE ATTACHMENT SWEEP can be installed and run in multiple applications (up to 20) in the SAME Quickbase account for NO additional hosting charge. If you need more than 20 apps you can get another 20 for an additional $50 per month.
  • For One Time Sweep requests there will be no monthly hosting charge, instead there will be a one-time sweep charge based on the # of file attachment fields, # of records with files to be swept and the overall size of the entire sweep.

  • Reduce File Attachment space consumption in your application(s) by storing files in Amazon S3
  • Files stored in Amazon S3 are accessible directly from your Quickbase application(s), with a file download link
  • Share your files stored in Amazon S3 with non-users of Quickbase
  • Use native file attachment fields during normal business hours so your users do not see any difference in their current file upload processes.
  • The file attachment sweep process is scheduled to run daily, off hours, to move files in file attachment fields to Amazon S3 
  • Offload your existing files stored in File Attachment fields to Amazon S3 with a one-time run of our File Attachment Sweep application. (additional costs apply for initial file attachment fields sweeps)
  • Additionally, files can be "triggered" to be moved from file attachment fields to Amazon S3 once a new record is added to your table. 
  • Multiple files attachment fields can be setup to be swept

    When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

    • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
    • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
