Pricing Details:  QB COURIER is a PREMIUM add-on and includes a One-Time Setup Charge and an ANNUAL Hosting Charge.
  • Setup Charge includes setting up ONE Quickbase application and ONE courier configuration email template
  • QB COURIER can be installed and run in multiple applications (up to 20) in the SAME Quickbase account for NO additional hosting charge. If you need more than 20 apps you can get another 20 for an additional $50 per month.
  • You get 25 email configuration templates included in the Base price. You can purchase additional email configurations templates, if needed, in packs of 25 for an additional $50 per month.

Here is a list of some of the features of Courier for Quickbase

Email Notifications:

  • Send emails with file(s) attached to them. The files can reside in file attachment fields or in Amazon S3
  • Change the "FROM" address of the email message. Use an email address from each record being processed or use a generic email address for all records being processed.
  • Use your own mail server to send the email messages.  Provide us with a dedicated userid and password and we'll connect to your mail server to send out the messages
  • Schedule email messages to be sent on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis
  • Send an email "on demand", with a click of a button you can send your email messages without waiting for the overnight process to run

Reminders:

  • Send reminders to NON Quickbase users
  • Include "CC" and "BCC" email addresses for all reminders
  • Customize the message subject and body to include fields from your Quickbase records(s)
  • Include file attachments with your reminder messages, use a file from each record and/or include additional generic files

Execution Options:

  • Triggered execution run based on a "change" event in Quickbase. A Quickbase email notification is designed in your application to fire when a record is added/updated/deleted which will then initiate the QB Courier process to be executed.
  • On-Demand execution runs an email "campaign" whenever you want, with a click of a button.
  • Scheduled execution runs an email "campaign" on a scheduled basis; daily, weekly, monthly

    When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

    • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
    • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
