Pricing Details:  MULTIFILE - FILE ATTACHMENT is a BASIC add-on and includes a One-Time Setup Charge and an ANNUAL Hosting Charge.
  • Setup Charge includes setting up ONE Quickbase application and ONE table to upload multiple files at a time
  • MULTIFILE - FILE ATTACHMENT can be installed and run in multiple applications (up to 20) in the SAME Quickbase account for NO additional hosting charge. If you need more than 20 apps you can get another 20 for an additional $50 per month.

Here is a list of some of the features of Multi-file File Attachment

  • Select multiple files to be uploaded into Quickbase.
  • Use drag and drop to select the files to upload.
  • Uploaded files are stored in a "child" or "details" table and related back to the "parent" record from where the upload was initiated.
  • Maintain a document library table, storing all files in a single table, related to multiple "parent" tables.
  • Add as much metadata to the document library table as you need, its a standard Quickbase table that you have full control over.
  • Meta data can be viewed/edited right from the upload file window
  • Choose to allow duplicate files to be uploaded or not
  • Each file selected must not exceed 20MB in size.  The total of all files selected can exceed 20MB but each file must be less than 20MB.

    • If you need more Files you can purchase additional File packs. Each additional pack will add 3,500 Files to the annual total

    When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

    • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
    • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
