Build a Single PDF Package file by combining PDF files created by other processes that the PDF Package Builder triggers to execute.
Pricing Details:  PDF PACKAGE BUILDER is a BASIC add-on and includes a One-Time Setup Charge and an ANNUAL Hosting Charge.
  • Setup Charge includes setting up ONE Quickbase application and ONE document package. We configure your application and first document package and show you how to create your own. You can then create as many packages as you want and need...
  • PDF PACKAGE BUILDER can be installed and run in multiple applications (up to 20) in the SAME Quickbase account for NO additional hosting charge. If you need more than 20 apps you can get another 20 for an additional $50 per month.
  • The Package Builder is an automation service and requires additional add-ons to be fully activated.  The additional add-ons that can be used with Package Builder are:
    • Exact Forms Plus Batch Processor
    • XL Docs Batch Processor
    • PDF Stamper Batch Processor
    • PDF Merger

    The additional add-ons that you need will be dependant upon the type of files you need to generate as part of the final packaged document.  So make sure you include at least 1 of the above add-ons as part of your quote for an accurate total price..

  • Create various documents in succession and define the order they will be compiled
  • Create a single consolidated document (PDF) of many various document types, i.e. Word, Excel, Images, PDFs and store in Quickbase
  • Generate a complete set (package) of documents to be routed for signature
  • Include separate cover and ending pages
  • Separation pages can be incorporated between different documents
  • Documents can come from one or many related tables
  • “Bulk Package” creation for all records in a specific report
  • Package generation “runs” recorded within a detailed audit activity table

Combine the Package Builder with our other Add-ons to:

  • Send out via email utilizing Courier
  • Send out for signature and approval utilizing DocuSign and even collect info from the recipient for entry into the Quickbase database

    • If you need more Packages you can purchase additional Package packs. Each additional pack will add 500 Packages to the annual total

    When you bring additional fields into a conversion, Quickbase often finds inconsistencies. For example, say you're converting your Companies column into its own table. One company, Acme Corporation, has offices in New York, Dallas and Portland. So, when you add the City column to the conversion, Quickbase finds three different locations for Acme. A single value in the column you're converting can only match one value in any additional field. Quickbase needs you to clean up the extra cities before it can create your new table. To do so, you have one of two choices:

    • If you want to create three separate Acme records (Acme-New York, Acme-Dallas and Acme-Portland) click the Conform link at the top of the column.
    • If the dissimilar entries are mistakes (say Acme only has one office in New York and the other locations are data-entry errors) go back into your table and correct the inconsistencies—in this case, changing all locations to New York. Then try the conversion again.
